Working alongside senior accountant colleagues the trainee accountant must have strong numerical skills with a natural ability to accurately analyse data for errors and be adept at following instructions. This role will see the Trainee Accountant develop knowledge of the accounting industry in a real commercial environment whilst gaining practical experience at the start of their career. The Trainee Accountant will be pivotal in creating and sending out invoices, managing supplier accounts and sales. In addition, there will be additional duties at the end of the fiscal year when the yearly audit is undertaken.
Numerical Abilities. Aptitude for numbers and an ability to make calculations and work out formulas with ease.
Analytical Skills: Ability to spot trends in data and highlight inaccuracies or discrepancies in records.
IT Skills: Ability to use accounting software and MS Excel 2010 or later to input and amend data records.
Detail Orientated: ability to input data ensuring it is accurate and all errors are identified and corrected.
Integrity: Must keep company data and information confidential and ensure that it is not disclosed to anyone that does not have the authority to receive it.
ACCA or CIMA Qualification to be undertaken and funding provided by the Company.
Hours per week
Full Time 37.5 hours per week (Mon - Fri) - Immediate Start
£22,000.00 per annum (pro-rated accordingly)
