We aim to provide access to services in a range of ways to ensure career information, advice and guidance (IAG) is available at the right time.
Quality
Careers Guernsey promotes the effective delivery and continuous quality improvement of IAG by working towards the Matrix Standard.
Impartial and confidential
Career IAG is provided solely on the needs and benefits to the individual. Individuals can be assured of confidentiality and consent is required to share information through the usual protocols.
Professional
Careers Advisers have studied postgraduate career guidance qualifications and are members of the Career Development Institute. GWEx staff are trained in IOSH health and safety for work experience and all our staff are supported in any relevant training and development.
Strong links and partnerships
Working with employers, agencies, schools, parents, post-16 and universities helps provide an IAG network to access the right support at the right time.
Effective
Using regular feedback and evaluation of our services helps Careers Guernsey provide the most up to date and effective careers support.
