Role Overview:
As auditors, we look to see if the client's statements about their financial position are true, fair and accurate. We work closely with their finance team and other key people to get to know their business and understand the risks they face. We can then identify any weaknesses in their financial statements, business systems or culture, and so advise them on suitable solutions, to help their business succeed.
Being a BDO auditor means variety.
• You get to work on a range of different organisations, with each day bringing new challenges.
• You will build long-term relationships with our clients, getting to know them and their business with client visits being an integral part of this.
• You will be assisting the team by obtaining audit evidence, preparing analysis of accounting data, and being actively involved with client relationships.
• You'll be included in the whole audit process from planning, through execution to finalisation.
As an Audit Trainee you will form part of the audit team. You are part of our team from day one, playing active roles in assignments and contributing to your team's success. You will be expected to study for and complete an accounting qualification, however you will be fully supported during this period, and gain first-hand relevant experience whilst you study.
Skills and Specific Qualifications Required:
3 A-levels grade A*-C (or equivalent from IB pathways)
• Received grade 4 (C) in English Language and Maths at GCSE.
• 2:2 Degree or higher (if applicable)
