Work Involved: 

The Pathway Programme has been professionally structured to develop the technical and personal skills that are required to progress a career in Finance. The programme will last for up to 18 months and once completed, provided the performance is at the required standard the student will commence a career in their chosen area.

Students will spend a period of time in our Trust, Tax & Funds departments, each individual is unique, and we will provide a tailored approach to development, creating a personal development plan for each individual. During their time in each area, they will receive full support and structured mentoring as well as on-the-job and relevant external training to enable them to fully experience each business area. Time will also be spent in other key areas such as operations, accounting, and compliance.

If at Graduate level there will be the opportunity to start studying for a professional qualification prior to completing the initial 18 months.

Skills and Specific Qualifications Required:

A strong academic record at GCSE/A Level or for Graduates a 2:1 degree or above (predicted or achieved.

Training Available:

All entrants on the NSM Group Pathway Programme will receive an individual structured training programme including induction, on-the-job training and internal & external training courses relevant to the programme. On completion of the 18 month programme the opportunity to study for a relevant professional qualification will be available.

Working Hours and Pattern:

9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday
