Research Your Course
The process of application for Post-Graduate courses varies. Some universities are signed up to the UKPASS sevice operated through UCAS. Applications for Post Graduate teacher training now also go through UCAS (formerly GTTR). For most other courses the process is through direct application to the institution of your choice.
Eligibility of Channel Islanders
For most courses, application as an Islander is straight forward. You should be aware that there are certain courses that are restricted to UK or EU residents only. In the main these are Health related and can include for example, Graduate Medicine entry and Clinical Psychology. If you are applying for courses such as these, you should ensure that you have any offer in writing before commiting yourself to any costs.
Funding
There are particular rules around funding for Post-Graduate courses and you should read the notes on this carefully prior to making any application. Be aware that there is a strict deadline on applications for Post- Graduate awards, and this is usually June 30th of the year your course would start.
