Work Involved:
Purpose: Supporting the People & Culture team in the delivery of firm-wide HR goals and objectives.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Undertaking and assisting with generalist HR related responsibilities including (but not limited to):
administering and completing a range of process checklists covering the employee lifecycle
preparing and maintaining documents
preparing and maintaining emails
maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic and paper HR records (including absence records)
updating the HR system (Profile), as required
liaising with external providers and/or brokers (eg. training, and benefit schemes)
Providing first line support for HR related queries, escalating these as necessary
Assisting with ongoing People & Culture project work, as required
Being available to travel to Guernsey or Jersey, as required
Skills and Specific Qualifications Required:
Skills:
Has excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills and confidence to deal with people at all levels
Has excellent time management skills
Has a good understanding of the business and the different functions within the company
Is a team player, with a flexible and proactive approach to work and willing to undertake additional duties, as require
Qualifications/Experience:
The ideal candidate should have previous administration experience
Training Available:
Potential to do CIPD qualifications
Working Hours and Pattern:
Full time, Monday to Friday, 9-5
