Trainee Building services engineer

Work Involved:

• Computer-aided design (drawing and co-ordinating services within buildings)
• Ventilation system management and design
• Water services systems management and design (Heating, Hot & Cold distribution, and Public Health)
• Air Conditioning/Refrigeration systems Management and design
• Electrical and Lighting systems Management and Design
• Alarm systems (Intruder, Fire Alarms and Door Access) Management and Design
• Solar and renewable energy systems management and design
• Onsite hands-on experience to aid understanding services installed.
• Financial tasks (quotation's, large project tenders and variation costings)
• Customer/client interaction
• All sectors of services (Domestic, Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare buildings)
• Computer skills must be good as we heavily rely on use of Microsoft systems and design software.

Pay Range:

£25k-£28K

Training Available:

This role would involve 1 day release per week to work towards BTEC Level 4 HNC in Building Services Engineering (HVAC) course duration 4 years

Working Hours and Pattern:

Monday to Friday 0800 to 1700
